Join Wellington Art Club
Wellington Art Club Inc established in 1892 is the oldest art club in New Zealand, connects people who are interested in learning about national and international art practices, different media and art techiques. Our membership is passionate about investing in culture and is comprised of a diverse group that includes art professionals, enthusiasts, and collectors.
Our members meet to socialize, to learn and practice, and make new friends. As a member, you have the opportunity to showcase and sell your art work in any of our large annual art shows or events and display your paintings in our gallery. You can also take part in our workshops, classes, demos and lectures. Learn from others and share your knowledge.
We encourage emerging artists, struggling artists, established artists and artists from different cultural backgrounds to apply for membership – no selection process to join. The Art Club is a great place for self-expression. Fellow members are very accepting.
